Take a break from the city and see a great Southwest scenic wonder. The beauty of red at Red Rock Canyon National Convervation Area just 11 miles west of Las Vegas affords views of desert landscape, plant life and abundant wildlife.
The Visitor's Center interactive exhibits provides a greater understanding with wonderful views of the impressive Wilson Cliffs and the high desert terrain. Also, take time to see the Gift Shop with a strong Native American influence.
Then all aboard for the 13-mile scenic drive through the high desert canyon area. Keep a lookout for wild burros and mustangs that live in the area. For the grand finale buffet lunch will be served at the Red Rock Casino.
