This journey is started by driving through historic Boulder City then crossing over the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge. As you drive along the Southwest Arizona desert in air conditioned comfort, your Driver will give you information about the beautiful 900 year old Joshua Tree Forest and some history of the regions early inhabitants.

Arriving at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon you will enter the Hualapai Indian Reservation. The Hualapai Tribe members welcomes you to explore this remote part of the Grand Canyon. You will have time to explore the rim of this great wonder of nature as you walk on this unblemished land. The Great Thunderbird image nature created along with many other unusual formations. Before departure time you will have time to see authentic curios and art objects the craftsmen of the reservation have on display.

While on the Slywalk you walk out over the gorge of the Grand Canyon and look down 4,000 feet to view the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Approximate return time to your hotel is 7:00 p.m.
